Cloud security review

Cloud security review

A cloud security review finds the misconfigurations an auditor or attacker finds first: access, networking, logging, and exposure. It is run by a practitioner who has configured the VPCs and managed the cloud resources personally, so you get prioritized findings with clear fixes.

What we look at

Four places the real gaps hide

Access

Who can reach what, over-permissioned roles, stale credentials, and whether privileged access is actually reviewed.

Networking

VPC and subnet layout, security groups, public exposure, and the paths that should not exist between your systems.

Logging

Whether the events an auditor or an incident responder needs are being captured, retained, and actually watchable.

Exposure

Internet-facing surfaces, open storage, and the misconfigurations that turn a small mistake into a reportable one.

What you get

Findings you can act on

A prioritized list of findings, ranked by real risk, not by scanner noise.
A concrete fix for each finding, not just a flag.
A short readout you can hand to your team or your board.

Cloud security review FAQ

What is a cloud security review?

A cloud security review is a hands-on assessment of your cloud environment that finds the misconfigurations an auditor or attacker finds first: access, networking, logging, and exposure. You get prioritized findings with clear fixes, not a raw scanner dump.

Which cloud platforms do you review?

The review focuses on how your environment is actually configured: VPCs and networking, IAM and access, logging, and public exposure. The practitioner is hands-on with cloud infrastructure, resource management, and cloud architecture.

How is this different from a vulnerability scanner?

A scanner produces a long list with little judgment. This review is done by a practitioner with penetration testing experience who ranks findings by real risk, explains why each one matters, and gives you the fix. You get signal, not noise.

Can this feed into SOC 2 or ISO 27001?

Yes. Cloud misconfigurations are where audits and attackers both start. The findings map cleanly onto the controls an auditor will ask about, so the review doubles as readiness work if you are heading toward SOC 2 or ISO 27001.

Find the gaps first.

Better you find the misconfiguration than an auditor or an attacker. Book a call and we will scope the review.
