Are you joining your google meets call after lunch where you’re supposed to be presenting only to find your screen share permissions are having an issue on you mac?
Look no further.
To approach this we will simply reset the “Screen recording” permissions.
- Launch the terminal on your mac. You can do so by pressing Command+ Space and typing in “Terminal” and hit enter
- Paste the following command into the terminal and click enter: tccutil reset ScreenCapture com.google.Chrome
- Quit (right click on chrome in dock and click “quit”) and restart google chrome
- Now when you try to share your screen you will be prompted to to approve google chrome “Screen Recording” permissions
- That should be all thats necessary. If its still not working try a reboot.
